What is IFSI´s Mission?
The mission of the International Forum on Skills Intelligence (IFSI) is to establish a global platform for advancing the emerging interdisciplinary practice of skills intelligence (analysis, anticipation and alignment) in post-secondary and higher education.
The forum responds to the long-held challenge in establishing data-driven mechanisms and partnerships that bridge the gap between the demands of the labour market and the supply of agile and responsive education and training systems.
Who is the target audience of IFSI?
IFSI is designed to engage a diverse, interdisciplinary and heterogeneous global audience, including but not limited to:
- Researchers and Academics: Scholars working in fields such as Labor Market analysis, Economics and Data Science, Education Policy, Educational Technology, Lifelong Learning and Career Guidance and Student support
- Higher and Continuous/Vocational Education Practitioners: Educational Institution leaders, course instructors, curriculum designers, and career services professionals.
- Industry Stakeholders: Representatives from the private sector, including employers, HR professionals, data providers and skills forecasting experts.
- Public Policy Practitioners: Practitioners and officials involved in shaping education and workforce development policies, including national and multilateral international agencies such as ETF, CEDEFOP, OECD. ITC, ILO etc.
- General Public and Lifelong Learners: Individuals interested in understanding and contributing to the evolving dynamics of skills intelligence and employability in lifelong learning.
